Trinidad

A charming UNESCO world heritage town with narrow cobbled streets, views down to the the clear waters of the caribbean, a vibrant and eclectic music scene that comes alive at dusk and the nearby Escambray mountain range are well worth exloring.
Many visit for the day, but for those that stay a few nights, then you can get under the skin of this fantastic and historical city. During the day you may decide to trek to the waterfalls of Topes de Collantes in the nearby Escambray Mountains and take a dip in one of the natural pools, you could cycle down to the coast and find your own little private spot of paradise, charter a boat and fish, take a step back in time and visit a former slave centre that fuelled the sugar boom in the region during the 19th Century all before experiencing live music everynight in the local plaza where you can sip a Bucanero beer, listen to some exceptional music, and for the brave maybe even try a little salsa dancing!
