Bariloche

Bariloche, on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi, is surrounded by green forests and snowy peaks. This is a haven for outdoor activity throughout the year, with cycling, fishing and trekking opportunities in the summer months, and then skiing in the winter.
The area around Bariloche has fantastic National Parks with beautiful crystal clear lakes, towering snow-capped peaks, thermal pools and forests. All of these have cycling and walking trails to explore, and decent roads from which to access them.

Things to see and do around Bariloche

The main reason for staying in Bariloche is to explore the surrounding National Parks, on foot, by bicycle, or on skis. The craggy landscapes with hot springs and crater lakes are truly glorious, and we can advise itineraries to suit your interests.

And, after all of these outdoor pursuits, you may wish to enjoy Bariloche's other great attraction; chocolate. Chocolate shops line the streets and there is no way of avoiding them!
