Las Balsas is an elegant and luxurious lodge that has a striking, dark blue wooden exterior that looks out over the lake and towards the mountains of Bariloche, the peaks of Patagonia and the dense forest of the Lake District. The setting is unrivalled and is perfect for those looking for peace, escapism, relaxation and pampering.
Internally it is very comfortable with large leather sofas, crackling fires and a swimming pool. There are 12 rooms, all views out over the lake. All of the rooms are a little different in decor, the underlying theme of super comfortable and cozy resonates throughout the property.
At Las Balsas, which resembles a luxury family home, there is a spa, a jacuzzi, a gym and a good sixed pool for the days that you are not out exploring. The restauarant is gourmet, fresh and local.
