There are eight comfortable rooms in this large house. Some look out over the garden, others over the ocean. All of the rooms have varnished wood floors, white walls and are decorated with local art. The guesthouse has an outdoor pool, a small art gallery, WIFI and art throughout either by the owner, sculptor Vicor Delfin, or artwork that he has collected throughout his career.
Second Home - Activities
Second Home is located in one of the quieter neighbourhoods of Lima famed for its art. One of the neighbourhood's most famous natives is the internationally acclaimed photographer Mario Testino. There are smaller and more traditional eateries, a pedestrianised walkway along the Pacific directly outside the hotel and Lima’s contemporary art museum, Museo Pedro de Osma, nearby. All of these and more can all be found in Barranco, Lima.
Our opinion
An economical Lima hotel that is perfect for those looking to stay in the arty Barranco neighbourhood and not pay the higher prices of the other boutique hotels. It is a fairly basic option, but we love the character and personality of this hotel.
