It is tucked into the UNESCO World Heritage protected area of historical Quito, which means that everywhere you look are beautiful buildings with an abundance of history and character. In the evenings you can choose to go out in the carriage, and so see Quito by night in true style.

Hotel Plaza Grande has 15 elegant rooms, each with a traditional and classical feel. Antique furniture, old paintings and dark woods all combine with modern appliances to create fantastic rooms that we love. This hotel is fantastic.
There is a restaurant at the hotel, (Le Belle Epoque), specialising in French cuisine. They also have a small cafe that serves more traditional cuisine, cooked very well. There are a couple of refined bars that quite often have a pianist creating the required ambience.

We really like this property. If you are looking for a stylish hotel before or after your Galapagos cruise, or at any point on your Ecuador holiday, then Hotel Plaza Grande should be on your list. As it is a small hotel it does get booked up early. For those lucky enough to get a reservation, we are confident that you will not be disappointed.
