The Details-Patio Andaluz
For a hotel that used to be a mansion that dates back to the XVI century you would expect a historical element. That is what you get at this hotel. The furniture is dark wooden colonial pieces and there are historical antiques throughout the hotel. This old fashioned boutique hotel is a charming option from which to base yourself whilst in Ecuador's capital city if you prefer older charms rather than contemporary chic.
The hotel is built around an inner courtyard where breakfast is served. There is also a small bar and restaurant that is open in the evenings from 7pm. Being located in the historical quarter of Quito we can also suggest lots of local resturantns that you may wish to dine at.
The 21 rooms are spacious and furnished with dark wooden wardrobes and wooden floorings giving the feeling of traditional and old fashioned grace. The rooms, nor the hotel, is super luxurious with all the mod cons of some of the other options, nevertheless we like this hotel due to the friendly ambience and competitive price.
